Apple Shows Off New Bright Yellow Colour For iPhone 14 & 14 Plus

Cheryl Tan

Every year, Apple does a spring addition to the base iPhone lineup with a new colour. In 2021, it was that beautiful purple for the iPhone 12. In 2022, it was that deep forest green for the iPhone 13. This year, it's a brilliant, striking yellow for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus that's fun and refreshing.

It also makes the iPhone lineup of colours look slightly more similar to the iMac lineup. Now all that's missing are the green and orange colourways. Regardless, the internals is the same so you still get that Super Retina XDR display, A15 Bionic chip, dual-camera system and all.

Additionally, Apple took the chance to announce that Emergency SOS via satellite, the system that allows for emergency calls and texts to be sent over a satellite connection, will be arriving in eight new countries later this month — Austria, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Portugal.
