Adobe has introduced new features for Photoshop, aiming to enhance creative control and streamline workflows for content creators. These updates are designed to reduce tedious tasks, elevate workflows, and give creatives more precision and control over their work.

Photoshop now includes new adjustment layers for non-destructive editing, featuring Clarity, Dehaze, and Grain. These controls provide powerful, maskable, layer-based adjustments to refine texture, depth, and detail.

Users can add dimension with Grain, reduce atmospheric haze and balance lighting with Dehaze, and enhance subject structure and crispness with Clarity. Each adjustment can be masked and blended seamlessly for total creative control.
Upgrades to the Firefly-powered Generative Fill, Generative Expand, and Remove tools now deliver higher-quality results. Output now reaches 2K resolution, leading to sharper detail and fewer artefacts.

These enhancements are powered by the latest Firefly Fill & Expand model and Remove Tool 3 model. They improve prompt adherence, reduce seams, and create more natural lighting and depth for realistic, polished edits.
Adobe also added more creative control to the Reference Image feature for Generative Fill. This major upgrade preserves the identity of a reference object during generation and compositing.

Reference Image with objects now provides geometry-aware results that better match the scene. It reorients to the correct scale, rotation, lighting, colour, and perspective.
A beta version of Dynamic Text is also new, allowing users to transform any text layer into circular, arched, or bowed shapes with a single click. Photoshop automatically fits and resizes text along paths quickly.
Adobe stated these innovations arrive amid record engagement and daily AI adoption across its creative products. Generative Fill is a top-five feature, indicating creative professionals regularly use AI tools.
The latest innovations and upgrades are available in Photoshop desktop. The Firefly-powered updates to Generative Fill, Generative Expand, and the Remove tool are also accessible on Photoshop on the web.
