Hi guys, we’re at the Creative office in Singapore and we're here to check out the X5 Sonic Carrier — this $7,000 speaker.

Now, why is it $7,000? The specs on this are really impressive, but let's find out further.

I had a really enjoyable experience. It felt like a real cinema, not even a home cinema. I could feel birds moving around and the directions they were moving in, but it still felt frontal to me.

Now, Creative has said that this is only 20 to 30% of the final product. They're going to be constantly upgrading until the product is released at the end of the year.

This is the first time Creative is coming out with a product that is $7,000, and we wanted to use a new model. This new model is what we call a cloud funding style. It’s not like we needed the money — we just wanted validation.
