You Can Express Your Love For Bubble Tea And More With 117 New Emojis Soon

Updated: Aug 19, 2021

Ever wanted to spam your friends with bubble tea emojis to show your excitement? Yeah, me too. You’ll be able to do it from 2020 onwards, thanks to the bubble tea emoji being included in the list of 117 emojis that made the cut for this year.

That’s not all though, the Unicode Consortium has included a diverse set of emoji that showcases more inclusiveness for the LGBT community and parents. You’ll be able to use emojis such as a father bottle-feeding a baby, a woman in a tuxedo, a man wearing a bridal dress and veil and more.

For people who always felt the acute lack of an anatomically correct heart, you’re in luck. Emojis for a realistic heart and lungs will be coming as well, although I can’t imagine a use scenario for them.

Check out Emojipedia’s blog post for all the emojis coming in 2020.
