Numberless GrabPay Card With Great Travel Perks Launched in Singapore

If you previously verified your personal information with Grab for their payment system, you’ll be able to apply for the all-new GrabPay card. It’s a digital-based prepaid payments card in collaboration with Mastercard, with a physical card available for those who apply for it.

At first glance, you might think that the new GrabPay Card looks quite a bit like the Apple Card. There are no card numbers or CVV on either card for security purposes, resulting in a cleaner looking card (although the Apple Card is still a bit more minimalistic and cleaner looking than the GrabPay Card).

But what’s great about the GrabPay card is the perks that you get when you use the card. First off, using the GrabPay card for foreign transactions while overseas incurs a 2% foreign exchange fee, which is a great deal compared to most other cards out there ranging from 2.5% to 3%.

Book your plane tickets with the card and you’ll be eligible for Mastercard’s Flight Delay Pass, with access to over 1000 LoungeKey airport lounges across the world in the case of a delayed flight.

Additionally, use the GrabPay Card to pay for your monthly phone bill and Grab will extend mobile protection coverage in case your phone gets stolen or damaged. It’s the same thing for online purchases, you’ll get reimbursed if the item doesn’t arrive or you get the wrong item, or if the item is damaged during delivery.

To incentivise people to get onto this, Grab is also offering up to 10x GrabRewards points for every dollar spent as part of their launch promotion.
