The launch of Galaxy Fold last year was deemed as a huge success, even making it to our Top 5 in 2019. With the new Z Flip this year, Samsung is definitely making a mark in the foldable smartphones category ahead of the other brands.

The Galaxy Z Flip is stylish and compact palm-sized, and when opened, its screen size doubled and transformed into a 6.7-inch display. The sleek rounded corners and forward fold are quite the highlight for the design of the phone. I can almost hear the snap of the phone when you fold it into half.

The glass display is one of its kind, featuring Infinity Flex Display with Samsung’s Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), giving it a slim, sleek and premium look and feel. One thing to note, there is no notch. The in-display camera is right in the centre of the screen, giving users a the maximum full-screen experience.

It comes with a Hideaway Hinge, which ensures the flip and fold of the Z Flip will be smooth and seamless. It can stay open at variety of angles, making it functional like a laptop screen.

The Galaxy Z Flip will be available in Singapore – first in Southeast Asia- across the major telcos, retailers, online retailers and Samsung online store, , from 14 February 2020, in two colours, Mirror Black and Mirror Purple. The recommended retail price is S$1,998 (including GST).
