Adobe Photoshop Co-Founder John Warnock, Passed At The Age Of 82

John Warnock, who co-founded software giant Adobe and helped create its flagship Photoshop product, has passed away at the age of 82.
Adobe confirmed Warnock's death in a statement on Sunday. The company did not disclose the cause. CEO Shantanu Narayen described it as "a sad day for the Adobe community". Warnock retired as CEO in 2000 after co-founding Adobe in 1982 with Charles Geschke.
He remained chairman of Adobe's board until 2017, sharing the role with Geschke. Narayen said Warnock had been "an inspiration for decades" in the software industry.
Warnock helped pioneer the desktop publishing revolution through his work on PostScript software. Along with Photoshop, he leaves a lasting legacy on creative software.
He will be remembered.
